Flipkart
Flipkart was one of India's defining technology companies, building commerce infrastructure at a scale that shaped how hundreds of millions of people shop. I worked across three distinct product areas during my time there.
Senior Product Manager, Selection
Led a PM team responsible for the Selection charter, systematically identifying selection gaps, surfacing insights from data, and helping sellers list the right products on Flipkart. The work strengthened both the marketplace and the customer experience.
Product Manager, Smart Fulfilment & Flipkart Fulfilment
Led Smart Fulfilment, an on-premise warehousing product that gave small and medium businesses a reliable way to participate in e-commerce logistics. The product scaled to 500+ sellers with near-zero cancellations and under 1% breaches. I also led Flipkart Fulfilment (Flipkart Advantage), growing participating sellers from under 50 to 500+, and mentored junior PMs.
Product Manager, New Category Launches & Navigation
Led product launches for new categories including Flyte (Flipkart's digital brand and India's first legal MP3s and eBooks store), along with Health & Beauty, Baby Care, Clothing, Footwear, and Toys. Managed key navigation experiences across the Flipkart website including the homepage, category pages, and menus.
Earlier career in Indian startups
Before Flipkart, I spent several years in India's early startup ecosystem, at a time when it was being built from scratch.
At Minglebox.com I was an early employee through its startup-to-scale journey, working across product management, product marketing, and client servicing for a platform that connected over four million students with more than 200 education providers.
At Aurus Network, I was part of the core team as Head of Business Development, driving growth for a company pioneering internet-based live, two-way HD classroom technology across India.
I also interned at Accel Partners, working with portfolio companies in education on brand building, monetisation, and product strategy.
iSPIRT: India's Software Product Think Tank
Alongside my full-time roles, I spent over a decade contributing to India's software product ecosystem as a volunteer and eventually part-time Fellow at iSPIRT.
I devised, ran, and scaled programs that supported thousands of software product entrepreneurs, including high-profile events where India's top startups engaged directly with the Indian Minister for IT. I served as Program Manager for PlayBook RoundTables and the Product Showcase for the IT Minister, and volunteered at the NASSCOM Product Conclave in 2011 and 2012.
