Ambassador, India Australia Business & Community Alliance (IABCA)
The India Australia Business & Community Alliance (IABCA) brings together a distinguished network of leaders shaping the Australia–India corridor — across technology, entrepreneurship, government, and community. I was welcomed into the IABCA Ambassador Circle in June 2026, in recognition of work spanning product leadership, AI, and Australia–India community engagement.
NSW Management Committee, Australia India Business Council
The Australia India Business Council (AIBC) is a leading organisation strengthening business, trade, and investment ties between Australia and India. I serve on the NSW Management Committee, contributing to strategy, programs, and community engagement that deepen the Australia–India corridor.
Program Director, New India House at SXSW Sydney
New India House was a flagship India-focused platform at SXSW Sydney 2025, the Asia-Pacific edition of the iconic Austin festival. A fusion of innovation, tech, and culture bringing together leaders across technology, entrepreneurship, government, and policy.
As Program Director, I led the vision and program design from scratch: program management, content, branding, marketing, and cross-sector coordination, all pulled together in a matter of weeks. One of the programs I moderated was "Namast-AI to the Future! Why India Is Essential to Your AI Success", a panel at the intersection of the two things I care most about.
The whole thing began with a chance meeting at AIYD 2024. A real example of how community relationships compound.
Delegate, Australia India Youth Dialogue
Selected as a delegate for the Australia India Youth Dialogue (AIYD) 2024, a high-profile bilateral dialogue bringing together emerging leaders from Australia and India across technology, entrepreneurship, and cross-border collaboration. The connections made at AIYD directly led to the New India House role at SXSW.
Australia–India Track 1.5 Strategic Dialogue
In May 2026, I was invited to speak at the Australia–India Strategic and Technology Track 1.5 Dialogue on Digital Public Infrastructure and AI, co-organised by the Asia Society Australia and the Ananta Aspen Centre. I presented three concrete use cases for deeper cooperation between Australia and India on digital infrastructure and AI governance.
Writing on Australia–India
I write regularly on the Australia–India relationship, covering migration, technology, trade, and culture. Published pieces include:
- India is now Australia's No.1 source of migrants, Sydney Morning Herald, June 2026
- ECTA four years on — what's worked, what hasn't, draft commentary on the Australia–India free trade agreement
